Born into a family of public servants, Muthu has spent 19 years building grassroots networks, fighting for the common people, and proving that honest governance is possible. He now aspires to bring this same commitment to Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam and the people of Tiruvannamalai district.
A 19-Year Path of Service

Inspired by Rahul Gandhi's leadership, joined Cheyyar Youth Congress. Travelled village to village on foot, built branch committees in every gram with minimum 10 members each.

Led Youth Congress across the entire Cheyyar Assembly Constituency. Documented voter IDs, built genuine membership base, earned leadership praise for honest grassroots work.

Coordinated two major state-level public meetings in Rahul Gandhi's presence. Organized the historic Kanyakumari–Delhi Padayatra reception through Theturai and Melma in Cheyyar constituency.

Personally approached factories in Cheyyar Industrial Estate and secured jobs for 200+ men and women. Those families thrive economically to this day.
TNPSC வெற்றி — VAO நியமனம்
Cleared Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. Appointed Village Administrative Officer serving Ariyur, Panamugai, Pulivaalam, Mattuvandangal, Brahmadesom.
10 ஆண்டுகள் நேர்மையான பணி
Served for 10 years without taking a single bribe. Secured 250+ free land pattas for poor families. Ensured government welfare reached 100+ elderly, disabled, and abandoned women.
80 சென்ட் நில மீட்பு
Fought against a former DMK MLA's family who had illegally occupied 80 cents of public land in Sozhavaram village. Spent ₹10 lakhs of personal money. Won all 6 court cases. Built Panchayat office, overhead tank and cooperative warehouse on the reclaimed land.

When a 7-year-old needed emergency surgery but had no insurance card, Muthu personally paid from his salary, got the insurance card from the District Collector in one day, and ensured successful surgery the next morning.
அரசுப் பணியில் இருந்து விலகல்
Villagers petitioned the Revenue Inspector to stop him. Officials refused his resignation for 3 months. He resigned honourably, with the blessings of the people, to serve a larger purpose.

Aligned with Vijay's TVK movement — believing only TVK can deliver honest, corruption-free, youth-led governance for Tamil Nadu.
TVK 2ஆம் இடம் — சேய்யாறு சட்டமன்றம்
In the 2026 TN Assembly election, TVK polled 65,599 votes in Cheyyar — finishing 2nd ahead of DMK (3rd) and behind AIADMK by just 21,081 votes. A clear signal: TVK has already taken root. With Muthu's booth-level network, the gap closes next time.

Hero Moments — Told as They Happened
A Moment That Saved a Life
A mother abandoned by her husband for 10 years — no ration card, no government support. Her 7-year-old child needed emergency surgery. Hospital refused without insurance. Muthu paid from his own salary, got the District Collector to issue the card in one day. Surgery happened the next morning.

Justice for the Abandoned
In Ariyur village, an elderly woman with 10 acres of land was abandoned by her sons and living in a shed. Muthu arranged her pension in 3 days, warned her sons, ensured she was cared for. This one act triggered support for 80 more people in that village.

When the People Said Don't Go
When Muthu decided to leave his VAO post, villagers petitioned the Revenue Inspector. Officials refused his resignation for 3 months — a rare testament to how beloved a government officer can be. He left with their blessings, to serve a bigger mission.

நான் ஒரு VAO-வாக இருந்தபோது, அரசியல் அழுத்தங்களுக்கு அஞ்சாமல் ஒரு முன்னாள் சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர் குடும்பத்தால் ஆக்கிரமிக்கப்பட்ட நிலத்தை மீட்டேன். ₹10 லட்சம் சொந்தப் பணம் போச்சு, 6 வழக்கு எதிர்கொண்டேன், வெற்றி பெற்றேன். ஒரு குழந்தையின் உயிரை காக்க என் சம்பளத்தை கொடுத்தேன். இனி ஒரு மாவட்டம் முழுக்க இதே நேர்மையோடு பணியாற்ற தயாராக இருக்கிறேன்.
